Allowing the body’s natural ability to heal.
The Animal Bodyworks practices Chinese acupressure and massage for animals.
We also work with moxibustion and aromatherapy when needed.
We believe the body has an innate ability and desire to heal. Our work is to help facilitate that process. All the body’s structures are woven together in a system of interaction, so when any one aspect is off, the scales of the body tip. The intent of bodywork is to balance the scales again, ensure a healthy flow of energy, and bring the animal back into physical and emotional health.
Acupressure and massage provide help for animals holistically.
Bodywork is a non-invasive approach that also complements veterinary care. The work balances well with vet-diagnosed conditions; when needing extra aid for older or weak animals; or when continuous maintenance support is needed beyond the vet’s office visits.
Bodywork supports all ages and many conditions of animals.
Acupressure and massage improve energy levels, reduce pain, and strengthen immune function. They help with sudden or one-time situations, such as recovery from accidents and surgery, as well as longer-term conditions resulting from chronic illnesses and older age. They are also effective for animal athletes for pre-event relaxation and focus, as well as post-event soreness. Additionally, bodywork is used for preventative and maintenance care, as well as for the early detection of sometimes life-saving abnormalities.
